Hi there I just have to take a moment and write this. My father was a music collector, since he was young he started to put together an amazing collection of reggae and african music. We are from Medellín, Colombia, that makes it even harder to get good music, so he saved money and ordered cds from the uk and the us, not all the time cause at first he didn't have enough money to buy all the cds he wanted. He started with cassettes, and then he managed to collect about 700 cds of the best music in the world, that besides all the vinils and other treasures. The thing is, about 6 years ago a band of thieves broke into our house and stole everything, including all the music.. they just took it and threw it in boxes, they took everything, after years of effort, it was all gone.
Since then we've been trying to get everything back, but my dad never really collected again, so we just started downloading music, but anyways, there were somethings we never found. I've been trying to find some of those things for my dad and I was incredibly happy whenI found his blog filled with beautiful music. That's why I'm going to say thank you.
i try & only post out-of-print vinyl & cassettes, along with random videos you can't buy ... if i post something that is easily available, or if you own the copyright & don't want it posted here for people to discover & enjoy, please leave a comment in the relevant post & i'll remove the link!
all vinyl & cassette rips are usually at 320kbps
password is either in the post, or the comments, & is usually either afroslabs.blogspot.com ...or... ylow.blogspot.com
(i'm trying to label each post by the country of the artist - if i get any wrong, please let me know!)
